About Circumcision

MSCC specialises in performing circumcisions for young boys, adolescents and adult males. Circumcision is a surgical procedure that removes the foreskin covering the head of the penis.

Depending on the patient’s age and individual circumstances, circumcision may be performed using the stapler, freehand or Plastibell method. The appropriate method will be discussed before the procedure.

For infants and children, parents or guardians are invited and encouraged to remain with the patient during the procedure. The patient remains with their parent or guardian in the private treatment room.

If you are considering circumcision for your child, we encourage you to read the following independent information before making a decision. These resources explain the procedure, possible benefits, risks and considerations for parents.

If you are considering circumcision as an adult, please contact us to arrange a consultation with Dr Kashba. This provides an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the procedure, risks, recovery, aftercare and costs before making a decision.
